Who can use our services
You may use our services only if you enter into a binding agreement with OEC, and only in accordance with these terms and all applicable laws. When you create your account at OEC, and therefore when you use certain features, you must provide us with accurate and complete information, and agree to update your information so that it remains accurate and complete. Any use or access of children under 13 is prohibited, and some trainings may have additional requirements and / or restrictions.
Subject to these terms and our privacy policies, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use our services. You may download content from our services only for your personal and non-commercial use, unless you obtain written permission from OEC to use the content in another way. You also agree that you will create, access and / or use only a user account, and that you will not share access or access information to your account with any third party. Using our services does not give you the ownership of any intellectual property rights of our services or the content you access.
Although we are completely proud of the contents of our first level international trainings, unexpected situations can always happen. OEC reserves the right to cancel, interrupt or reschedule any academic program modifying its contents, evaluations and certifications. The training offered is subject to the resignation and limitation of liability sections below.
Without university credits
Unless explicitly indicated by a credit institution, the participation or completion of a training does not grant any college credit. Even if an institution grants credit, there is no presumption that other institutions accept that credit. OEC, training coordinators and educational partners are not required to have programs that are recognized by any accreditation institution or organization.
Warning about the student-university relationship
Nothing in these terms, with respect to your participation in any training: (a) establishes any relationship between you and any educational institution to which OEC is associated; (b) enrolls or registers you in any educational institution, or in any training offered by any of these institutions; or (c) authorizes you to use the sources of any educational institution beyond participation in the training.
The services allow you to share your content with OEC, instructors, and / or other users, that is, their duties, questionnaires, exams, projects and other tasks that you send, comments you make in the forums, and “likes”. You retain all intellectual property rights, and are responsible for the content of the user you share.
How OEC and others can use user content
To the extent that you provide user content, OEC is granted a fully transferable, free, perpetual, sublicensable, non-exclusive global license to copy, distribute, modify, and create derivative works based on, public performances and exhibitions, and any other use of user content. This license includes granting OEC the right to authorize participating institutions to use the user content with their registered users and with in-person students independent of the services. Nothing in these terms may restrict other legal rights that OEC may have on user content, for example under other licenses. We reserve the right to remove or modify user content for any reason, including user content that we believe may violate these terms.
Any suggestion, idea, comment, qualification of trainings or other feedback related to the services will always be welcome. When you send any feedback, you grant us the right to use it without any restriction or compensation for you. By accepting your feedback, OEC does not waive the right to use similar or related opinions that have been previously published in OEC, developed by its employees or contractors, or obtained from other sources.
The safety of our users worries us. While we work to protect the security of your account and related information, OEC can not guarantee that unauthorized third parties can not defeat our security measures. Please inform us immediately by sending an email to email@example.com, if there is a compromised or unauthorized use of your account.
Content of Third Parties
Through the services, you will have the possibility to access and / or use the content provided by the instructors, other users, educational partners, and / or other third parties and links to web pages and services maintained by third parties. OEC can not guarantee that the content of these third parties, in the services or in another place, does not contain material that you may find objectionable or inappropriate, or malware or other contaminants that may damage your computer, mobile device or any file it contains. Trademark and copyright policy
OEC respects the intellectual property rights of our users, educational partners and other third parties and expects our users to do the same when using the services. All the contents presented in the trainings by the coordinators and teachers are protected and the intellectual property rights belong to the corresponding educational partner that presents each training.
OEC is committed to advancing the science of education and teaching, so that records of their participation in training can be used for educational research. To contribute to this research, you may be exposed to variations in the content of the training. The results of the research will normally be communicated globally. Your personal identity will not be publicly disclosed in any results without your express consent.
Foreign currency and amounts of payment
OEC shows the costs of training in different currencies around the world depending on where the user visits us and always clarifying the ISO 4217 code of the currency to which it refers. In turn, training prices may vary according to their location and other factors, and OEC reserves the right to change any price at any time at its discretion. All changes, updates or modifications will be effective immediately after the publication of the relevant services. Refunds may be available as described in our refund policy.
Modify and suspend our services
We are constantly changing and improving our services. We can add or remove functions, features or requirements, and we can suspend or stop a service completely. As a result, OEC may suspend your use of any service for any reason. If the use of a paid service is suspended, a refund may be made under our refund policy. Neither OEC, nor its educational partners and instructors, nor its collaborators, sponsors and other business partners and its employees, nor its contractors and other agents (Parties of OEC) will have any responsibility with you for such action.

OEC PARTIES SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING DURING THE TRANSACTION OF TRANSACTIONS OR USE OF THE BRAND. THE OEC PARTIES ALSO DO NOT PROVIDE ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY RELATED CONTENT. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT ANY ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICES OR SUCH CONTENT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limitations of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OEC PARTIES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA , USE, FUND OF COMMERCE OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM: (A) YOUR ACCESS TO, THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY PARTY THAT IS NOT RELATED TO OEC, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY DEFAMATORY, OFFENSIVE OR ILLEGAL CONDUCT; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR CONTENT OR INFORMATION. IN NO EVENT WILL OEC HAVE TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS OF THE SERVICES OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES THAT OEC HAS RECEIVED FROM YOU FOR THE USE OF SERVICES PAID DURING THE LAST SIX MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF ACTION RELATED TO THE SERVICES MUST BEGIN WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ARISES. OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION IS PERMANENTLY PROHIBITED.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the OEC Parties from any claim, liability, expense and damage, including attorneys’ fees and costs, incurred by third parties related to: (a) the use or intent to use them; services that violate these terms; (b) the violation, for its part, of any law or rights of any third party; or (c) user content, including, without limitation, any claim of infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property or other property rights.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
The services presented in this platform are managed by Online Education Center SAS, which is located in Córdoba, Argentina. You agree that any conflict related to these terms will be governed by the laws of the Province of Córdoba, excluding conflicts regarding legal provisions. Expressly accepts the personal jurisdiction of and the exclusive place in the federal and state courts located and serving in Córdoba, Argentina, as the legal forum for such disputes. Excluding claims by court order or other equitable remedy, for claims related to services, where the total amount requested is less than ten thousand American dollars (10,000 USD), both you and OEC can choose at any time of the dispute, resolve the appeal , without pity, through binding arbitration. The dispute will be resolved through an established alternative dispute resolution provider (“ADR”), chosen by mutual agreement between you and OEC. The parties and the selected ADR provider will not involve any personal appearance of the parties or witnesses, unless the parties agree otherwise, rather, the arbitration will be conducted, at the option of the party requesting redress, online, by telephone , or in writing. Any sentence issued by the arbitrator may be presented in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Revision of the terms
We reserve the right to revise the terms in our sole discretion at any time. Any revision of the terms will be effective immediately after we publish it. In any change we make to the material of the terms, we will follow the necessary steps to inform you of such changes. In any case, your continued use of the services following the publication of such changes, with or without notice, constitutes the binding acceptance of the revised terms.

OEC’s educational partners are third parties benefiting from the terms and must apply those provisions of the terms related to them.
Acceptable use policy
The mission of OEC is to facilitate the implementation, development and sustained growth of online educational programs in a transparent manner and at reduced risk; through state-of-the-art technology, innovative strategies, technical, administrative support, and the experience of a growing community.
We strongly believe in maintaining the freedom of speech and expression of our students as well as maintaining the academic freedom of our educational partners and instructors. We also want to make sure that all of our students and instructors feel safe and comfortable when using our services. We have developed these guidelines to make sure that people understand and follow the rules when participating in our online community and when using any of our services.
Although we routinely do not examine or monitor the content provided by users and students, we may remove or edit inappropriate content or activities communicated to us, or suspend, deactivate, or terminate a user’s access to, or to all services.
You are prohibited from using our services to share content that:
- Contain illegal content or encourage illegal activities with the intent to commit such activities.
- Contain credible threats or organize acts of real violence. We do not allow content that creates a genuine risk or physical damage or property damage, that actually threatens people or public safety, or that organizes or encourages harm.

- Try to access another user’s account.
- Reproduce, transfer, sell, resell or in any way misuse any content of our services, unless specifically authorized to do so.
- Access, forge or use private areas of our systems, unless specifically authorized to do so.
- Breach or circumvent our authentication or security measures or in some way test the vulnerability of our systems or networks, unless specifically authorized to do so.
- Try to apply reverse engineering to any part of our services.
- Try to interfere with any user, guest or network, for example by sending viruses, overloading, sending spam mail or bombing mail.
- Use our services to distribute malware.
- Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Encourage or help someone to do any of the things on this list.
Trademark and copyright policy
OEC respects the intellectual property rights of our educational partners, instructors and other third parties, and expects our users to do the same when using our services. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or delete the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or who are repeatedly accused of infringing the coyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of others.
The Millennium Digital Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”) provides copyright resource for owners who believe that material appearing on the Internet infringes their rights under US copyright law. If you believe in good faith that the materials that appear in services infringe your copyright, the DCMA provides that you (or your agent) send us a request asking that access to them be removed or blocked.
The notification must include the following information:
- the physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that has allegedly been violated;
- identification of the work of which the copyright is held and that is declared to have been infringed (or, if there are many works with copyright located in the services that are covered with a single notification, a representative list of such works);

OEC also respects the trademark rights of others. For failure of the educational partner or OEC
If you enroll in a training that is later suspended, postponed, teachers are modified, thematic contents, certifications and / or course of course; our administrative department will personally contact you to ask if you want us to return 100% of the money invested or if you want to use it for another training of the platform. If you want the money back, will agree with our administrative department on the best way to get that money back without having any administrative or processing costs.
Because of his mistake
If by mistake you subscribe to a training that was not desired or make more than one payment for the same training module, our administrative department will return 100% of the money minus the processor’s expenses of the payment method if The training has not started yet. If the training has begun, only the amount corresponding to the modules that have not yet begun will be returned.
Code of honor
All students participating in a training must agree to abide by the following behavior code:
- I will only register with just one account.
- My solutions to the tasks, questionnaires and exams will be my own work (except for those tasks that allow collaboration explicitly).
- I will not provide the solutions of homework, quizzes, exams, practical work, final, self-evaluations, projects and other tasks, to anyone (except in the case where a task explicitly allows to share the solutions). This includes both the solutions written by me, and any solution provided by the course staff to other people.
- I will not be involved in any other activity that improperly improves my results or improperly impairs or impairs the results of others.
